An Honest Love by Kathleen Fuller

Anna must find the courage to tell Lukas the truth. Will he find the courage to forgive her?

Anna was one betrayed by someone she loved deeply. In an attempt to never be hurt again, she and her mother relocated to Middlefield, Ohio. It was the ideal place for Anna's broken heart to mend. In Middlefield, Anna withdrew from risk, placing all her attention on managing the new gift shop she and her mom bought.

When Lukas introuces himself, Anna can't resist her attraction to him. Though she finds herself falling in love, she's hiding a piece of her past in fear that their future will be destroyed if she tells him the truth.

But love can't be built on lies and the past comes rushing back to Anna in an irreversible way. Now Lukas must decide how he will react to Anna's betrayal. As they cling to their belief in an honest love, they realize it's a path they must walk together even as it leads to unexpected places.

My thoughts:
Thanks to my daughter, I am a HUGE Amish fiction fan. I'm from Pennsylvania and so I had the pleasure of getting to go to Lancaster County quite often. Reading about many new Amish areas (even if the stories themselves are fiction) is a reminiscent time for me.

An Honest Love is a wonderful new book by a very talented author! I have never had the pleasure of reading Kathleen's books before, so I was pleased to have the opportunity to try this book. It is book 2 in a series, and I wish now that I had read the first one. But, I enjoyed reading this wonderful and warm story about the Amish and would highly recommend it to everyone.

Bibleman: Combating the Commandment of Confusion DVD

A dastardly villain plots to steal the armor of God.

The Commandant of Confusion and his side kick, Chaos, interrupt the Bible Adventure Training Academy and steal the Bible Team’s secret weapon, which helps them put on the full armor of God “anytime, anyplace.” There is a warning label on the secret weapon that reads in part, “this device contains the most powerful weapon known to man, follow instructions closely to prevent severe harm.” Will the Commandant heed the warning? Will the Bible Adventure Team recover it?

Scripture lesson: “God is not a God of confusion but a God of peace.” 1 Corinthians 14:33 (ICB)

My Thoughts:
I sat down to watch this with my grandchildren, and I was impressed! This DVD was a live version of Bibleman, and the music and the action really captured my grandchildrens attention.

Through Bibleman, the kids learn powerful scripture lessons throughout the video. Bibleman and his superhero friends constantly qoute a scripture from the Bible, making this like a Bible study for kids.

At the end of the movie, Bibleman and his superhero friends taught the children about sin and asking God to lead them and to help them(the kids) follow Jesus and live for Him. My grandkids closed their eyes and repeated the prayer right along with Bibleman! I was literally in tears from it, and I thank the creator of this wonderful movie series for a movie that my grandkids loved!
