Love Your Heart by Tim McGraw with Tom Douglas

The second book in Tim McGraw’s My Little Girl series is a heartwarming story of a little girl’s selfless act of kindness.

Tim McGraw and songwriter Tom Douglas once again join forces to write another book about the precocious Katie and her dad. Katie has many talents, but she wonders which one will win her school’s talent show. With the help of Dad and her faithful dog Palio, and after several amusing mishaps, Katie finally chooses one talent that includes Palio. But at the talent show, she decides to drop out of the contest to help her friend, showing kindness is the best talent of all. Katie’s proud dad reassures her that she did the best thing and that while he loves many things about her, he loves her heart most of all.

My Thoughts:
Being a fan of country music AND Tim McGraw, I was quite pleased when BookSneeze offered this book for review. One of my favorite songs by Tim McGraw is his song entitled "My Little Girl", of which I first heard when he played in the movie, Flicka, and is also the title of this children's book series, My Little Girl.

Love Your Heart is book 2 in this wonderful children's series and I highly enjoyed it(I'm a mom and grandma but I'm a big kid at heart!)and read it as soon as I recieved it. Tim expresses through words on a page for children the love that is in HIS heart, the same way he expresses it through music. He has daughters of his own and you can see the love for them through this beautiful story. This book is perfect for every little girl out there, but I also think that it would be a wonderful tradition for every little girl out there to start with her daddy...reading this wonderfully written new children's series by Tim, together.

My Thoughts:
This Bible was truly a wonderful for me. I am a mom so, of course, it is a special on to me in that regard. But I love the easy readability of this being a New Century Version Bible.

This Bible really encourages us as mothers, to stand strong in our relationship to God and shine for our children! The devotionals in this Bible really speak to your heart, and you can truly feel Gods love in these devotionals. There are places in this Bible that help you when your children come to you to ask you questions that you might not now how to answer other wise. Wonderful references!

I give this Bible high recommendations for every mom out there. It is a wonderful daily Bible with it's devotionals and special sections. This is a Bible that I will be reading from daily and will be using for Bible studies.
